MY STORY
Emily McCarthy is passionate about law, politics, and communications.
Emily grew up in San Francisco, CA where she attended K-12 grades and found her love for politics and law. Currently she is studying political science and public relations & strategic communications at American University in Washington DC where she will be a senior. Emily is currently interning at ConnectedSF a political non-profit based out of SF that focuses on informed citizenry for a better San Francisco.
In her free time she loves to bake gluten-free treats, explore nature, read, and spend time with her friends and cat. In the future Emily hopes to be a lawyer working with the legal team at a public relations firm. Emily hopes to use her skills to help people in need, while still being able to do the things that she loves to do.
